Welcome to my creative universe!

A peek at toys, t-shirts, and ideas I’ve brought to life, some small, some global, all made to spark joy.

Building My Shot: The LEGO Application Journey

I’ve spent years in toys—long enough to know how things get made, and how easily good ideas fall apart. Applying to LEGO was different. No shortcuts. Just research, iteration, and a table full of sketches—characters, models, ideas that didn’t all make it. These are the ones I put forward.

The Move That Changed Everything

I got it. What started as an application turned into a move from LA to Denmark and a whole new chapter. As a Model Designer on LEGO DUPLO, I’ve had the chance to build for core themes like Town and contribute to IP sets across Disney, Universal, and Warner Bros. The work shown here is part of that journey—built brick by brick along the way.

Toy of the Year:

After settling into LEGO DUPLO and contributing to core themes and IP sets, I had the chance to take on a bigger challenge. The result: Duplo Steam Train, which was nominated for 2019 Preschool Toy of the Year. I shaped the concept, developed the play pattern, and designed the final model—making sure kids would giggle, learn, and maybe derail a few trains along the way.

Evolving with LEGO:

After five years in LEGO DUPLO, I moved into LEGO System to take on new challenges and work across franchises. I developed preschool toys for Friends, Marvel, Ninjago, and LEGO Star Wars—working on Star Wars was a personal highlight I never imagined.

Sketch to Shelf: How Ideas Take Shape

Sketching is how I explore ideas and share them with others. After five years at LEGO Duplo—and three in System—my knack for concepting led to a new role: Concept Artist. I’m excited to focus on imagining what could be next. Here are some examples of how I create concepts.

My Fun Side Projects

As an artist, I’m always doodling ideas that get me excited—inside or outside of work. Pokémon has been a part of my life forever, and for its 25th anniversary, I sketched some fun product ideas I’d love to see in real life. Pet toys—wouldn’t that be awesome?

Role: Enthusiast

Pokémon, T-Shirts, and Triumph:

In 2019, I tossed a design into Uniqlo’s UTGP Pokémon contest — 18,000 entries, long odds. Figured it would vanish. It didn’t. Special Selection, global release. Not the grand prize, but I’ll take it..

Freelance Adventures:

Meet Juni, the newest member of our pack. She’s not just a faithful dog—she’s a muse. These pet toy spec art sheets were made before she arrived, but now, with her by my side, I’m imagining new toys inspired by her energy, curiosity, and playful spirit. The possibilities feel endless.

My Move from LEGO to Pokémon Merchandise Development

I recently joined Pokémon to work on merchandise development for special events and pet products. Leaving LEGO and all the friends I’ve made wasn’t easy—I’ll definitely miss that chapter. But the chance to combine my love for designing pet toys for Juni with working for a brand I’ve adored my whole life was too good to pass up.

2025 Pokémon Worlds Merch – Anaheim Collection

My first product set at Pokémon was for the 2025 Pokémon World Championship—right in my hometown of Southern California. Talk about full circle. One highlight was a secondary line inspired by rockabilly culture, a passion I picked up from coworkers early in my toy career. But the dream moment? Designing four Pokémon plush. As a lifelong fan, I’d often imagined being a Pokédoll maker—and now here I was, actually doing it.

2026 Pokémon International Championships

Hear ye, hear ye! Kicking the year off with my first Pokémon International Championship product set.
I created the story and art direction for the primary line Including designing the very first IC plush, built to tie seamlessly into this MEGA assortment.

30 Years of Pokémon

Working on Pokémon’s 30th anniversary has been a special experience. From the opening scene merchandise to the 30th anniversary logo and Explore Pokémon collection, I’ve loved reflecting on 30 years of memories with these games and channeling that into this year’s products.
